MSUM Student in the UK

Euro 2016 Hunter Robyn Kaci MackenzieOn March 19th, MSUM students participating the University’s Eurospring Program joined Dr. Allan Chapman for lectures and field trips to the Neo-Lithic sites of Avebury and Stone Henge. The group also visited Salisbury Cathedral, a massive Gothic pilgrimage church that houses one of the four extant copies of the Magna Carta.

The following day, the students accompanied MSUM professor Anna Arnar to London where students presented their research projects. Kenzie Landrie, School of Visual Arts, gave a talk on the Flemish painter Rogier Van der Weyden at the National Gallery, and Danielle Tharaldson, School of Business, presented her research on Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre at the site of the original structure.

Euro 2016 KenzieResearch presentations will resume once students complete their exams in Oxford and head to the European continent to cities including Paris, Florence, Siena, Venice, Prague, Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent and Amsterdam.
