MSUM students honored at Rape and Abuse Crisis Center Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Aaron Lund, 2013 recipient of RACC’s Healing the Hurt award, was among the MSUM students and alumni honored at the annual Rape and Abuse Crisis Center Volunteer appreciation dinner April 16.
The Healing the Hurt award is a special recognition to an individual or group that has extended extra effort toward ending violence and abuse and whose actions have positively impacted the lives of those victimized by personal violence.
Lund has been “healing the hurt” through his extraordinary passion and commitment to organizing and facilitating MSUM’s “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event and in the creation of “Extraordinary Gentlemen,” an MSUM men’s student organization dedicated to ending violence and abuse.
