Retiree death: Dean Palmer

Dean Austin “Peanut” Palmer, 84, of Barnesville, Minn., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Essentia Health in Fargo, N.D. A funeral service to honor his life was held on Tuesday, April 14. Dean worked at Minnesota State Moorhead from June 1985 through December 2009, retiring from the Physical Plant. Read the obituary.
