MSUM welcomes freshman class
More than 770 first-year students moved into dorms at MSUM on Thursday, Aug. 21.

MOORHEAD — First-year students at Minnesota State University Moorhead celebrated their first night on campus Thursday, Aug. 21.
The university’s parking lots were filled with box fans, couches, bags of clothes and more for move-in day.
People from all over campus worked together to get the students moved in and started on their college journeys.
The 2025 freshman class at MSUM has more than 770 students.
