Graphic communications alum Ben Fairbanks to speak at Startup BREW

Graphic communications alum Ben Fairbanks and owner/inventor of Kid Caddie will be one of the featured speakers at the Wednesday, Sept. 18 Startup BREW, an Emerging Prairie monthly event. The MSUM-sponsored event runs from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Brewhalla.
Ben took his love for golf and family to create the Kid Caddie, a golf club carrier that transforms a stroller into a push cart so you can bring your kids golfing. Using what he learned from his degree, Ben developed a product that met relevant needs and built a website and social presence to promote it.
“My degree taught me the mindset of how to approach challenging ideas with creativity and giving a solution to a problem,” Ben says. “I took what I learned at MSUM and created what Kid Caddie has become.”
