Gooding Participates in FMWF 1 Book 1 Community Presentation
As part of the Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo 1 Book 1 Community fall 2024 reading project, please join Erik Gooding (Anthropology) and Gunner Baker (Dakota) on Sunday, September 22, at 2 pm at the Main Library as they introduce and facilitate a discussion following William Kent Krueger’s Dakota 38 film. This documentary follows horseback riders on a 330-mile route from Lower Brule, SD, to Mankato, MN, ending at the site of the hanging of 38 Dakota Indians at the end of the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862.
