VP of Finance and Administration Candidate Information
Candidate Michael Pieper, whose open forum was scheduled for Monday, April 29, is withdrawn from consideration for the Vice President for Finance and Administration position. The remaining candidate open forums and their resumes are noted below.

Dan Heckaman is the Associate Vice President for Finance and Administration/CIO at MSU Moorhead. Prior to his AVP appointment in 2021, he was the university’s Chief Information Officer. Before joining MSUM, Dan was the IT Manager-Administrative Applications at MeritCare Health Systems (Sanford Health). Dan earned an MBA from MSUM and a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems.

Georges Tippens All Campus Open Forum | Friday, May 3 | 2 to 3 p.m. | CMU 105
Georges Tippens is the Deputy Director and General Counsel at the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education. He previously served as Performance Manager as the South Carolina Department of Transportation. George holds a Juris Doctor and an Urban and Regional Planning, Master, both from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Washington.
