Nominate your student employee(s) for Student Employee of the Year

The deadline to submit your nomination(s) is Monday, March 20, 2023, at 4:30 pm.

In order to be nominated, a student must:

• Currently be employed at MSUM (e.g. work-study or hourly)
• Have completed or expect to complete a minimum of six months of part-time employment before April 12, 2023
• Enrolled in an MSUM undergraduate or graduate degree program and enrolled at least half time
• Not be employees of the MSUM Career Development Center
• While not required, you and your nominee are encouraged to attend the Student Employee Celebration scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10-11:15 am in the CMU

Directions for Nominations
Click here to complete the nomination process. You will describe the accomplishments of the nominee that you feel qualify them to be considered for Student Employee of the Year recognition. Nominations should be in letter/essay format (2-page maximum). Your letter should include the following requirements:

• Briefly describe why you are submitting the student for recognition
• Briefly outline your student employee’s accomplishments over this past year and/or how they have contributed to the workplace
• How does this student exhibit NACE Career Readiness Competencies (career & self-development, communication, critical thinking, equity & inclusion, leadership, professionalism, teamwork, and technology) in their position?
