Oceanarium hosts first creature drawing workshop for Art-A-Fair
Oceanarium Facility Coordinator Phil Larson and Adjunct Megan Johnson collaborated to host the Art-A-Fair’s first “creature drawing workshop” on Friday, Jan. 27. The workshop was one of 23 opportunities for area high school students to engage in art on MSUM’s campus.
The students examined the Oceanarium’s animals up close, rapidly sketching the critters as they moved.
A short video was published on the university’s official Instagram and TikTok channels Friday, highlighting the event’s first session.
Faculty interested in sharing upcoming events though video or storytelling are encouraged to complete a marketing request form.
