Get ready for NextGen/Workday
NextGen is a technology modernization initiative that is taking place across Minnesota State. Technology is a critical component of closing the equity gap as it provides students, faculty, and staff key resources and access to systems so they can seamlessly navigate their educational and professional careers.
As part of NextGen, Minnesota State is implementing Workday, a cloud-based system that will allow for streamlined student and business processes across all 33 colleges and universities. Because it is a cloud-based software, students, faculty, and staff alike can conduct their business on any device, at any time.
The attached document provides a high-level overview of the transition, work in progress, and timeline.
All business and student services are affected. Currently, work is happening in human resources, finance and payroll.
