Marsha Wichmann, MSUM Counseling Services, recognized with the “MoorHeart Award”
Marsha Wichmann, Mental Health Counselor and Chemical Health Educator at MSUM Counseling Services has been recently recognized by the City of Moorhead with the “MoorHeart Award”. The award is given to those who make an outstanding achievement or contribution to the Moorhead Community. Marsha’s contribution, along with Chris Orth and Mara Morken (also pictured), is due to the positive community impact had by the Facebook group “Moorhead=Fantastic” for which they administrate. The group recently hit a 4,000 member mark and provides an online space for people to connect; giving “shout outs”, promoting events and new businesses, or alerting to concerns that can be addressed in positive and productive ways.
