The Physics and Astronomy Department will be hosting John Pfund, MS, who is a BS Graduate in Physics and MS Medical Physics from the University of Minnesota. John will be presenting a survey of careers in the field of Medical Physics and will be joining us via Zoom.
The exciting field of medical physics will be reviewed. Education and certification pathways to a successful career in medical physics will be outlined. The sub-specialties of the field will be presented along with examples of a typical day in the life of a clinical medical physicist.
Note: Hagen 325 has 21-person capacity due to Covid guidelines.
