Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Charles Eade
Meet MSUM’s new director of accessibility resources, Charles Eade. With his passion for helping others, Charles is excited for the opportunity to be innovative with students in order to provide the accessibility resources they need to succeed not only in the classroom, but also in life.
Start Date: February 3, 2020
Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: When I came to campus for my interview, I loved the people who I would be working with. The strong mentality of being a part of a team was something I was looking for and that what I have experienced thus far.
Q: What is one thing that surprised you about MSUM?
A: The sense of pride for the school and students has really stood out to me since coming to MSUM! It is an amazing feeling when you can actually experience it all together.
Q: What energizes you at work?
A: My energy comes from working with the students and the ability to be a part of many committees. There are many different “hats” I wear depending on the committees and when I have a chance to build a repertoire with a student, it builds excitement and energy!
Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Fargo-Moorhead?
A: So far, my favorite place to eat in the Fargo-Moorhead area is Rhombus Guys pizza. Everything I have eaten there is awesome and their service is top-notch!
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A: Since I am a history buff, I would love to spend more time in Philadelphia to visit the Liberty Bell, U.S. Mint, and many historic buildings there. It would be a lot of fun to share that experience with my family!
Welcome to MSUM, Charles. We’re glad you joined the #DragonFamily!
