Come Celebrate Ash Wednesday with Crossroads Lutheran Campus Ministry

Ash Wednesday is on Feb. 26 and Pastor Steve Wold of ‘Crossroads Lutheran Campus Ministry’ will have a table in the Comstock Memorial Union at MSUM. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Steve will welcome those who wish to receive an ashen cross upon their foreheads. The words from Genesis will be spoken, “Remember, you are dust and to dust you shall return.” The Lenten season of 40 days begins with reflections upon our mortality and captivity to sin. ‘Ashes to Go’ offers busy students an opportunity to mark this important day. Also, Worship at the Blue House (one block west of campus) at 6 p.m. that evening will include the Imposition of Ashes. All are welcome as we enter the season of Lent!
