Welcome to the #Dragon Family: Parker Kruckenberg
Meet MSUM’s new Associate Director of Development for the MSUM Foundation, Parker Kruckenberg. He is looking forward to building connections with current Dragons, alumni and friends!
Start date: Sept. 30, 2019
Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: We had a little girl this summer, so we knew it was time to move back. Before coming to MSUM, I was a college baseball coach for eight years. I love being in higher education and making an impact.
Q: What is one thing that surprised you about MSUM?
A: I feel like MSUM is a hidden gem in the area. The people that work here really want to be here. They aren’t looking to go to the next place necessarily. Everyone is happy being here, and that has been clearly evident.
Q: What unique experience or skills do you bring to MSUM?
A: I have been at many higher education institutions in different parts of the country. Having those experiences in diverse populations is a unique thing I bring to MSUM.
Q: What energizes you at work?
A: Shifting into something a little bit different than what I’ve done energizes me at work. I try to help people do what they want to do to help support MSUM.
Q: If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be and why?
A: I would trade places with a major league baseball player. I never got to that level, so I would love to trade places with them to have that expereince.
Welcome to the #DragonFamily, Parker. We’re happy you’re here!
