Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Brenda Norris
Meet MSUM’s Executive Director of Facilities Management, Brenda Norris. Did you ever know something like the back of your hand? Brenda sure does. She has helped with different construction projects and renovations at MSUM and is closely familiar with the campus.

Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: I came to MSUM in 2002 and been working as a consultant on construction projects and became full time in February!
Q: What is one thing that surprised you about MSUM?
A: Very supportive administration and staff. Everyone is willing to help you out. I think it is a really collaborative place to be.
Q: What unique experience or skills from your last job do you bring to MSUM?
A: I am pretty familiar with all the buildings because I helped build some of them. Langseth was my first project here. I also helped build the Wellness Center. I helped renovate Hagen, MacLean, Kise, Lomen and the Library.
Q: What energizes you at work?
A: Getting things done and getting to complete projects!
Q: What’s one thing that people don’t know about you?
A: I am a war veteran and I went to Desert Storm. I am also currently a VFW member as well.
