FirstLink will be at MSUM in the Career Development Center (Flora Frick 151) on Thursday, April 18 to do 20-30 minute resume reviews for students in social work, sociology, psychology, philosophy, anthropology or any human services major. This is a great opportunity for students to have their resume reviewed by a professional in their field of study and receive valuable feedback from an employer perspective.
The appointments fill up fast so sign up early by either stopping by the Career Development Center located in Flora Frick 151 or calling us at 218.477.2131 to schedule an appointment.
FirstLink assists people to identify, access, and make effective use of community and volunteer resources 24 hours a day. It’s the first link to connect people to resources including providing appropriate Information and referral of mainly Health and Human Service resources to callers and community members, 24 hour listening and support to callers, training in the areas of Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, and Workplace Wellness, and after-hours services to other agencies by handling their calls when their offices are closed.
