Jazz trumpeter Chuck Findley to perform with MSUM Jazz Ensemble

Jazz trumpeter Chuck Findley performs with the MSUM Jazz Ensemble April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Glasrud Auditorium Weld Hall. Findley is one of the most celebrated American recording session musicians alive today. A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Findley’s first professional work was with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra before joining the Buddy Rich Band on a world tour.
A veteran of the house bands for both The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Chuck has also played and/or recorded with Miles Davis, George Harrison, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, Toto, Jaco Pastorius, George Benson, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Tina Turner, Al Jarreau, Sarah Vaughan and many others.
