Join Bob Schieffer in exploring captioning services on campus during the last session from the Office of Online Learning in collaboration with the FDC this semester, Aiding Student Learning by Adding Captions to Academic Videos. This session will cover:

• Identifying the academic and legal reasons for adding captions to academic media.
• Providing examples of best practices when creating your own media.
• Demonstrating how to request mechanical captions via Kaltura MediaSpace.
• Explaining how to request purchased captions via MSUM Media Services.

This session will be held Wednesday, April 24 at 3 p.m. in the Faculty Development Center (LI 124).
