Economics students present at Eastern Economic Association meetings

Two Economics students presented at the undergraduate student sessions of the Eastern Economic Association meetings in New York City held March 1 and 2. Rebecca Weir studied the factors affecting the reduction in average annual milk consumption in the US. She found that as families eat out more frequently, the consumption of milk per person has decreased. Adam Schutt compared the the crime rates in Sanctuary cities against other cities controlling for a number of economic and demographic factors. Adam found that the crime rates in Sanctuary cities are not statistically different from other cities.
