Faculty Recital: Music for Two Pianos, Percussion, and Voice

The MSUM School of Performing Arts is proud to present a performance of George Crumb’s incredibly innovative composition “Music for A Summer Evening” (Makrokosmos III) along with a world premier performance of a new work by local composer Doug Harbin this Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. in MSUM’s Fox Recital Hall. Come warm yourself to the sounds of summer as glimpsed through the eyes of one of the 20th century’s most influential composers.

The afternoon will feature Dr. Kenyon Williams performing with guest artists Dr. David Eyler, Dr. Jay Hershberger, Dr. Doug Harbin, and Dr. Holly Janz. Admission is free.
