Speech-Language Pathology program represented at national convention

The Speech-Language Pathology program was well-represented at the American Speech Language Hearing Association national convention Nov. 14-17 in Boston.

Student research mentored by Dr. Kris Vossler, Dr. Elaine Pyle and Dr. Tina Veale was accepted for poster sessions for thesis research (Meredith Egeland, Andi Elvert, Kelsey Kowalski, and Rachel Sawatzky) and portfolio research (Mariah Benz). Mariah Benz also was very active in her role as the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association Central Regional Councilor. Eight second-year graduate students and two faculty members attended the convention sessions and poster presentations. Estimated attendance at the competitive submission conference was 18,000 professionals and students.
