Speech-Language & Hearing Clinic now a SPEAK OUT! & The LOUD Crowd provider
The SLHS department is excited to announce that the MSUM Speech, Language Hearing Clinic is now a SPEAK OUT! & The LOUD Crowd provider. This program offering was generated from a grant written by Jill Beuckens and Joni Mehrhoff. Six SLHS Faculty including Jill Beuckens, Joni Mehrhoff, Rachel Stotts, Vicki Riedinger, Elaine Pyle and MariBeth Plankers have all become certified providers to offer this two-part speech therapy program to help individuals with Parkinson’s regain and maintain effective communication. SLP Graduate students have the ability to receive this same training online under the supervision of a SPEAK OUT! provider.
