MSUM Regional Science Center Walking Tour
Saturday, Sept. 22 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. | Regional Science Center
Members from the Department of Anthropology and Earth Science will offer a walking tour explaining the geology and archaeology of the Red River Valley found in and around the MSU Moorhead Regional Science Center. Participants will be introduced to the program at the Interpretative Center building and then hike to three stations, spaced approximately ¼ mile apart, illustrating the landforms created by Lake Agassiz and the transformations through time and how Native Americans adapted to this changing environment.
