MSUM Kicks Off School Year with Welcome Week
The university community welcomes new students into the Dragon family and all students back to campus to kick off the 2018-2019 school year.

University convocation will feature President Anne Blackhurst; Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs Marsha Weber; Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Brenda Amenson-Hill; and music by MSUM’s Fuego Tropical.

Downtown tour | Saturday, Aug. 25 | Noon – 5 p.m.
Life of the Party movie | Saturday, Aug. 25 | 9:30 p.m. | Outside Lommen Hall

Construction zone information:
- The east lane of 14th Street will be open for move-in day only. Commuters will be able to enter 14th Street and travel north from 12th Avenue through campus in the far east (right) lane.
- Commuters will also be able to go west on 9th Avenue to 14th Street and turn to go north (but cannot cross 14th)
- No traffic will be able to go east on 9th Avenue to 14th
Note of interest: Students are moving into the recently renovated East Snarr Hall, which completes the renovation of the Snarr Complex (West Snarr, South Snarr and East Snarr).
