Dr. Wooyang Kim (Assistant Professor of Marketing – Paseka School of Business) and his student, Drew Sannes (MBA student and Research Assistant), made a publication in the Atlantic Marketing Journal (MSUM Qualified Article in the Scholarly Achievement Plan). This study was awarded “outstanding paper” in the sports marketing track at the 42nd Annual Conference of Atlantic Marketing Association, Williamsburg, Va. (2017). The published article, entitled “A Theoretical Framework of Sports Team’s Well-Being: An Integrative Perspective of Emotional Intelligence and Equivocality on Trust and Happiness,” is available at the Atlantic Marketing Journal website (Vol.7, issue 1).

As a part of empirical testing of the theory, Drew Sannes presented the exploratory study of this theoretical model at the 2018 Annual Conference of the Korea-America Hospitality & Tourism Educators Association (KAHTEA), Las Vegas, Nev.  With the extended data of MSUM student-athletes (N=135), Drew will conduct her oral defense (the Paseka School of Business’ MBA requirement for graduation) on April 25th, 2018.  At current, this study has collaborated with Bemidji State University to collect the data.
