Earth Day Festival
Friday, April 20 | 1-5 p.m. | Campus Mall
Come and join the Sustainable Students Association in honoring the planet with an Earth Day Festival! The festival will be on Friday, April 20 from 1-5 p.m. on the campus mall. If the weather is bad that day the festival will be indoors at the Langseth Atrium. We will have lots of fun activities going on. We will be tie dying clothing. T-shirts will be provided but, feel free to bring your own items to tie-dye. There will be free organic wraps given out. Additionally, we will have booths from different organizations such as the Dragon Anthropological Society, the Geo Club, and the Residence Hall Association. There will be a trivia booth where students can test their eco IQ with the possibility of winning a Kindle Fire and a solar phone charger even if you don’t win the grand prizes you can still walk away with a Earth Day button. There will also be miniature eco-friendly town with stations where you can learn about different renewable resources as well as yard games to play with. Come be inspired by the beautiful planet we all owe our lives to.
