Lactation Room Reveal Party
Tuesday, Jan. 30 | 3-5 p.m. | Women’s Center (Bridges 154)
It’s a boy, it’s a girl…it’s a new lactation room on campus! The Women’s Center is launching its new lactation room by throwing a reveal party on Tuesday, Jan. 30 from 3-5 p.m. in Bridges 154, and the whole campus is invited. To celebrate, the Campus Feminist Organization will be collecting donations of items to support the YWCA shelter, which provides a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic violence, homelessness, and other crisis situations (see below for a list of needs). Join us for creative, breastfeeding-themed cupcakes, punch and other delicious treats and learn more about the ways MSUM supports equity for pregnant and parenting students, faculty, and staff. Our lactation room was made was possible by a grant from the Minnesota PartnerSHIP 4 Health program this past fall.
