The following message is from Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs Brenda Amenson-Hill:
I would like to publicly thank the members of the AVP for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs search committee. The search attracted a large pool of candidates, unfortunately, we were not able to successfully conclude the search. The search has been failed. I want to reaffirm that we remain committed to bringing people into our campus community that want and exemplify our core values and can help us accomplish our strategic priorities.
I am going to take some time to consider if a different approach to accomplish our work for MSUM can be identified. I will share my conclusions with the campus in the near future.
In addition to discharging the members of the search committee with my thanks for their hard work, I want to thank the members of the university community who supported the process through their participation in forums and search interviews. I was told by candidates that we represented our campus with abundant Dragon Pride.
Finally, I want to thank Doug Peters for his exceptional service to the university as interim VP and interim AVP. In January, Doug will once again be able to devote his full attention to his professional passion of Dragon Athletics. I also thank those in Dragon Athletics who stepped forward during Doug’s interim appointments. You have all shown your #MSUMgrit, #MSUMhumility and #MSUMheart.
