On April 1, 1943, Minnesota State Teachers College became the home of the 346th College Training Detachment of the Army Air Force, part of the AAF’s College Training Program. Sixteen “squadrons” of Army Air Force cadets were trained at MSTC over the life of the 346th. RED, MSUM’s institutional repository, has just uploaded its copies of “The Guidon,” which documented the activities of the 346th CTD and you can see it at https://red.mnstate.edu/guidon/.
