Volunteers needed for Woodlands and High Plains Powwow
Volunteers are needed for the Woodlands and High Plains Powwow to be held on Saturday, April 1, Nemzek Fieldhouse, Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) campus.
MSUM will host the 28th annual celebration of the Woodlands and High Plains Powwow sponsored by MSUM, NDSU, Concordia, and M State. This year’s theme is “Mni Wiconi (Water is Life): Standing Together.” A powwow is a celebration of community and a social gathering. In addition, this powwow celebrates the educational experiences of American Indian students in higher education and the sharing of tribal cultures in the FM area.
To make this year’s powwow a success, we need volunteers in a variety of areas. If you are available to help, please sign up on the Woodlands and High Plains Powwow Volunteer website: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080d4ca8af29a4fb6-28th
