I-94/Highway 75 Construction Update

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has an update on the I-94/Highway 75 interchange construction. 

• Westbound I-94 is scheduled to be down to a single lane Thursday night/Friday morning and Friday night/Saturday morning near Highway 75 (8th Street) and the Red River bridge. Crews will be working on the connections between the new northwest ramp and the existing pavement and shoulder on I-94. The work will occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., weather permitting. Eastbound traffic will not be affected.
• Crews have experienced unexpected issues installing wires necessary for the “crossover” signals on Highway 75 (8th Street). As a result, work is taking longer than anticipated. Southbound lanes cannot open until the signals are operational, so it is doubtful the southbound lanes will open this week.
