MSUM Welcomes Dr. Julie Zaloudek as Dean of Online and Extended Learning
Please join MSUM in welcoming Dr. Julie Zaloudek to the MSUM Campus. Dr. Zaloudek has accepted our offer to serve as Dean of Online and Extended Learning. She brings an extensive background in online education, mostly recently serving as Program Director and Assistant Professor of the Human Development and Family Studies Online Degree Completion Program at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. In this position, Julie grew the online program from 25 students to more than 130 students in five years.
She has been charged with leading similar growth in online education here at MSUM, ensuring the growth and continuous improvement of online student services, and ensuring our instructors have opportunities for pedagogical development for online curricula. In addition, Dr. Zaloudek will help manage and grow our summer enrollment. Her participation in the Provost’s Council and other venues around campus and the community will make a vital contribution to MSUM’s commitment to excellence and continuing to fulfill our mission into the future.
Julie holds a Ph.D. in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota, a M.S. Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, and a B.S. Political Science and B.S. In Music from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.
Julie began her duties here on July 1.
