What’s Happening in Admissions
Each week the Office of Admissions will be sharing a few things happening on campus and in our recruiting territories. We hope to provide a brief look into what’s happening in Admissions.
- The Office of Admissions will be hosting a card signing party for local high school graduates that are attending MSUM in the Fall of 2016. Please join us on Thursday, April 28, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in CMU 208 to connect with our incoming students. If you’d like to sign up in advance, please do so at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e044fa8aa28a7f85-grad
- Admissions will be collaborating with Alumni and Marketing to encourage prospective students to participate in College Signing Day. This day is presented by the White House’s initiative, Reach Higher. We are encouraging prospective students to tweet their intent to attend MSUM using #CollegeSigningDay and #ReachHigher on Friday, April 29. We are encouraging our alumni and campus community to participate by tweeting their Dragon Pride as well as encouraging any college age students they know to participate!
- Admissions will be visiting community colleges in the Twin Cities to talk to prospective students. Visits will include Century College, Saint Paul College, and Dakota County Technical College.
- Admissions will be hosting 40 9th – 12th graders from Spectrum High School on Thursday, April 28 for an Admissions presentation and a group tour.
