MSUM professors selected as panelists at Building Bridges Conference
Dr. Geraldine Hendrix-Sloan and Dr. Katie Richardson Jens (Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice) along with Fargo Police Cultural Liaison Officer Cristie Jacobsen were invited panelists at the Lutheran Social Services 16th Annual Building Bridges Conference in Fargo, ND this week. Their presentation, titled “Immigration and Criminality: Is There a Correlation?” discussed and dispelled many of the common stereotypes associated with the complex topic of immigration and crime.
