Key & Card Access Office completing project
The Key & Card Access Office will soon be completing an ongoing project to improve how access to secure spaces is requested across campus. The pending changes will result in a new and improved request application that will help to manage access to secure spaces. The changes will require that a request be routed to a predetermined Department Access Approver, who will authorize requests in the system. This change will allow our colleagues across campus to play a more interactive role in assisting with access control.
The changes to the application can be expected to be live soon, and sign-in capacity will be restricted to employees only. As such, access for students and student employees must be requested by the supervisor, and routed to the appropriate approver within the management system.
