Student Wi-Fi at MSUM: Things to know

How do I connect my laptop or other wireless devices to the campus Wi-Fi?
While browsing the wireless signals, you will find the following network that is provisioned for students;
· DragonConnect-Student: Available for Student access only
o The first time you connect to the network you will be asked to enter your StarID username and password
o You will then be able to access the campus Wi-Fi network without having to log in every time you connect
o Each person is limited to 3 devices attached at the same time
Note: If you attempt to connect any additional devices it will deny access and appear that the wireless network is not available. You would need to disconnect one of the other devices to allow another one to be added and then wait 5 minutes before connecting.
Please note: You will not find the DragonConnect in the dorms. Contact the housing office to find the internet connection information for the dorm you are in.
