Terrie Manno presents session at Canadian international conference

Dr. Terrie Manno, SPA, presented an invited session titled ‘But I Played it Perfectly At Home’: Narrowing the Gap Between the Practice Room and the Stage at the 2015 Canadian Federation of Music Teachers’ Associations biennial conference on June 10 in Vancouver, B.C.

The sixty-minute presentation included recent neurological research on how we learn and program habits, a side-by-side comparison of meditation techniques and piano practice strategies, and how performance anxiety can be moderated through brain training.
