Register Today for the Robotics course

A robotics course has been added as a special course through College for Kids & Teens. Robotics is being offered only during the week of June 8-11. This course is designed for students (ages 13-18 / grades 7-12) with prior College for Kids & Teens experience (MotoTechs and LegoRobotics). However, students with lots of interest and related experience can also fully participate. Registration is limited to 16 participants.

Robotics Description:
Design, build and program an Arduino-based robot this summer.  You will learn to solder, crimp, read circuit diagrams, draw circuits and program.  This course is an introduction to analog electronics (resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors), sensors and Arduinos.  Are you ready to create a robot?

Students will keep the robots that they build during the course so they can continue their explorations!

For more information contact  Prof. Steve Lindaas lindaas@mnstate.edu. This course is funded, in part, by a NSF grant.
