Olivia Matthews appointed as Coordinator for Multicultural Affairs

The Interim Director for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion Ashley Atteberry is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivia Matthews as the new Coordinator for Multicultural Affairs effective May 4, 2015.

Olivia Matthews has a range of experiences working with college students as well as a dedicating her time and energy to serving the interests of multicultural affairs.

Olivia is currently completing her Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Wright State University this month. While at Wright, Olivia has served as a graduate assistant in the Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center as well as research assistant. Olivia has also held internships in areas of assessment and academic advising. She has been very active in the Student Affairs Graduate Association at Wright State as well as the Ohio Consortium of Multicultural Centers in Higher Education.

“Given Olivia’s talents and skills, I believe she will be a key part of the programs and efforts supporting students in the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Please given a warm welcome to Olivia,” said Atteberry.
