Carol Hanson Sibley, Library Professor Emerita, has accepted a two-year appointment to the Outstanding International Books Committee sponsored by the United States Board on Books for Young People. The committee selects the best juvenile literature from other countries with the aim of helping young people in the U.S. see the world from other points of view.
