Dr. Lisa Karch and Three CNSA Students Present at the North Dakota Counseling Association Conference

Over 275 professionals from across the state of North Dakota attended the North Dakota Counseling Association (NDCA) Annual MidWinter Conference at the Radisson Hotel in Bismarck, N.D., on Feb. 20-22, 2015. Dr. Lisa Karch presented on “The Brain, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Resilience.” Three Counseling & Student Affairs graduate students also presented at the conference: Khulude Bukhari presented “How Do I Help Refugees and Immigrants Adapt to a New Life,” Heidi Fiechtner presented “Assisting Students in Developing Resiliency from a School Counseling Standpoint” and Katie Oman presented “Utilizing Google Apps for the Helping Professions.”
