Council for Minnesota Archaeology Symposium in Honor of Michael Michlovic
Five faculty members (Rinita Dalan, Jayme Job, George Holley, Michael Michlovic, and Bruce Roberts) and nine students from the Department of Anthropology and Earth Science attended the Council for Minnesota Archaeology 2015 Conference in St. Cloud, Minnesota on February 13 and 14. This conference on current archaeology in the Upper Midwest included the special session “40 Years on the Red – Honoring Michael G. Michlovic’s Contributions to the Archaeology of the Northeastern Plains and Beyond.” Papers in the session were presented by MSUM faculty, professional colleagues, and former students. At the conference, an announcement was made that an anonymous donor has offered to match all donations to the Michlovic Endowed Scholarship Fund up to a total of $10,000.
