MSUM College for Kids receives grants from Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation and Lake Region Arts Council

Moorhead, Minn., June 4, 2014…Minnesota State University Moorhead’s College for Kids received a grant from the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation for $2,000. The grant will be used for need-based scholarships to help cover the cost of classes for students. Student journalists, broadcasters bring home honors

Fifteen students and two mass communications classes took home 25 awards at the 2014 North Dakota Professional Communicators (NDPC) College Communications Contest, held on May 9. The NDPC contest is devoted to the advancement of student communicators by recognizing their work in communications throughout the year. A total of 85 awards were presented in 34 categories.
