Combined Charities Campaign: Last Week
Have you done your Combined Charities donation, yet? We are in the last week of this year’s Minnesota State Employees Combined Charities Campaign. We still have a ways to go to meet this year’s goal of $40,000 here at MSUM. Since procrastination is a common human characteristic, we know there are those of you out there who just haven’t gotten around to doing your pledge/donation, yet. The October 31 deadline is approaching fast, so NOW is the time to act. If you have already entered your payroll deduction or made your one-time contribution, THANK YOU.
The impact of just a few dollars per pay period designated to the affiliated agencies that are part of the Combined Charities Campaign can be truly amazing (see 2014 Charity Affiliates). Whether your interests are in supporting efforts in prevention, intervention, education, the environment, or the arts, or in supporting multi-focused charitable federations like the United Way of Cass-Clay, payroll deduction makes it easy for you to support your community. Together we DO make a difference.
To make your pledge for 2015, go to the Employee Self-Service website link at www.state.mn.us/employees, then go to Other Payroll. For more detailed information about how to donate, and the affiliated charities, go to the state website: http://mn.gov/mmb/combined-charities/donate/ .
If you have questions or need assistance with the website procedures, contact Sara Graff in Human Resources (sara.graff@mnstate.edu; -2157). To help us track how MSUM is doing this year, we ask that you return to Human Resources the Donation information form you received in your packet or which was on our Dragon Digest posting last week (or just send Sara Graff a note via e-mail).
Thank you from your MSUM Combined Charities Campaign Committee and your departmental volunteers.
