Dr. Kandace Creel Falcón presented paper at inaugural Latina/o Studies conference in Chicago

Dr. Kandace Creel Falcón (Women’s and Gender Studies) presented a paper, “Railway Origins: Uncovering the Tracks of Mexicana Lives in Kansas via Chicana Feminist Methodologies” at the inaugural Latina/o Studies conference in Chicago July 17-19. Two Organización Latina Americana (OLA) student officers also attended the conference – Melissa Gonzalez (WGS and Spanish majors), and Miguel Zarco (Finance) to help shape OLA’s student organization goals next academic year.
