MSUM Professor to Present Research in Cambridge, MA

Vijay Antharam PhD from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at MSUM will present a talk at the first annual “Metabolomics: Advances and Applications in Human Diseases” held in Cambridge, Mass. His presentation will be on “Can the gut reduce cholesterol? Merging metabolomics and genomics reveal two potential biomarkers during Clostridium difficile infection” which will be delivered on May 22, 2014. The talk will be given to medical doctors and biomedical scientists across the world who will be attending the two day conference held at the Hyatt Regency.


The talk features collaborations from Dr. Daniel McEwen (Department of Biosciences, Minnesota State University, Moorhead), Dr. Gary P. Wang (Department of Global Medicine, University of Florida), Dr. Timothy Garrett (UF Clinical Translational Science Institute), and Dr. Aaron Dossey (All Things Bugs LLC, Athens, Georgia).
