Art & Design graduate won gold ADDY
Shiree Lindholm, a 2013 BFA graduate from the Department of Art & Design (emphasis in graphic design) won a gold ADDY award in the student ADDY category of the 2012 American Advertising Federation of North Dakota. AAF-ND Gold ADDY winners proceed to the 8th District competition, and gold winners there go on to the national finals. The award ceremony was held Feb. 22 at the Holiday Inn, Fargo.
AAF-ND is one of 210 local affiliates of the American Advertising Federation, a nonprofit industry association, and a member of the 8th District (clubs from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin). The AAF’s annual ADDY Awards program honors excellence in advertising and cultivates the highest creative standards. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry. Each year, AdFed members from around the country enter more than 60,000 samples of their best work, making the ADDYs the world’s largest advertising competition.
