Two MSUM students, Whitney Jensen and Gavin Doppler, received awards for reaching the finals in all events they entered at the Minnesota Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference held Feb. 26 – 28 in Mankato. Doppler received special recognition by placing second in the Fashion Merchandising and Marketing category.

Collegiate DECA prepares students for careers by integrating skills learned in the classroom with real world experiences. Collegiate DECA conferences and other activities give students unique access to internships, scholarships, competition, and professional networking.
