Varying Degrees Percussion Trio to kick off tour at MSUM
The Varying Degrees Percussion Trio (Kenyon Williams, Music, along with area percussionists Tom Christianson and Andy Clemenson), kick off a mini-tour of Minnesota and North Dakota on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m. on the Gaede Stage.
The trio will then tour the region through Feb. 14. The MSUM performance and the tour feature multiple musical influences and dozens of instruments from around the world, in works of cutting-edge 21st century music to traditional Trinidadian calypso and American ragtime.
